Terms of Use

The short version: the games are free, ads pay for them, play fair, don't break things, and understand that a free game comes with no guarantees about uptime or how long it lives. If something is wrong, tell us: contact@hyppe.tech.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and Hyppe Tech Ltd, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. They cover this website (hyppe.games) and the games we host on it, including Hornfall and BLOCKSHOT. By playing, you accept them. If you don't, that's fine — don't play.
2. Age
You should be at least 13 to play. If you're below the age at which you can agree to terms like these on your own where you live, read them with a parent or guardian.
3. The games are free
There is nothing to buy. No premium currency, no paid unlocks, no subscription, no energy timer. Advertising is what pays for the servers, and that's the whole business model — so ads are part of the games, and blocking or interfering with the ad system is asking us to run the servers for nothing.
Anything you earn inside a game — points, cosmetics, ranks, leaderboard positions — is game stuff. It has no monetary value, can't be cashed out, sold or transferred, and we may adjust or reset it, for example to fix a bug, rebalance the game or undo cheating.
4. Fair use
Plain language: play the game, don't attack it.
- No aimbots, macros, scripted input or anything else that plays for you.
- No exploiting bugs for advantage — clipping through the map, packet tampering, lag switching, spawn manipulation, flooding a server. Found a bug? Report it instead of farming it.
- No attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or gain unauthorised access to our servers or other players' sessions.
- No scraping or automated harvesting of the site or the game APIs.
- Names, room names and anything else other players can see must not be hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or impersonate someone else. Trash talk is a sport; abuse isn't.
Our games are server-authoritative, which means the server computes results and a modified client can change what it draws but not what happens. We may still remove players from matches, roll back unfairly earned results, or block access from devices or addresses that break this section.
5. Your content
If you type something visible to other players (a display name, a room name, feedback), you're responsible for it, and you give us permission to display it as part of running the game. We may rename, hide or remove anything that breaks section 4.
6. Our content
The games, their code, art, sounds, names and this website belong to Hyppe Tech Ltd. You can play them, share links to them, stream them, and make videos about them — including monetised ones. You can't sell them, rehost them, or pass them off as your own.
7. Advertising
We show ads from Google and its partners on this site and inside the games. We don't control which specific ads appear, and an ad appearing is not an endorsement. What advertisers do on their own sites is between you and them. How advertising cookies and consent work is set out in the Privacy Policy.
8. No warranty
The games and this site are provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We work to keep everything running, but we don't promise that a game will be available, that a match will finish, that a server won't restart mid-fight, that leaderboard entries survive forever, or that any feature will keep existing. Games change. Sometimes games shut down.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Hyppe Tech Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost progress, lost leaderboard positions, or lost time arising from your use of the games or this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and if you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
10. Suspension
We may restrict or block access for anyone who breaks these terms, abuses other players, or endangers the service. For a free game we try to be proportionate, but the final call is ours.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as the games evolve. When we do, the date at the top changes, and significant changes will be noted on the site. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — except that if you're a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protections and any court rights your local law gives you.

Something broken, unfair, or just wrong? contact@hyppe.tech. Include the game, roughly when it happened, and the name you were playing under — that's usually enough for us to find the match.
